How much does a trip to Paris cost?
The bill for our Paris itinerary: 4 days, balanced pace, two adults. Line by line, with entry prices.
€130-190 per person / day
per person, per day
Over 4 days, for two people: €1.040–1.520
What it is made of
Per person, per day: accommodation €75-110 (shared double in the Châtelet/Marais area), meals €35-55 (lunch at a boulangerie or market street, dinner in a bistro), transport €5-8 (2-3 metro rides at €2.55), entries €10-20 on average (Notre-Dame and Carnavalet free, Sainte-Chapelle and Panthéon €13; the two big ones — the Louvre at €22, €32 from 2026 for visitors from outside the EU, and the Eiffel Tower summit at €36.70 — weigh on single days but spread out they fit). Total €130-190: the full comfort range, honest for Paris if you book everything in advance.
Where to stay, and what it costs
- 3-star hotel between Châtelet, Rue de Rivoli and the Marais — double €150-220 per night: the centre is walkable and metro lines 1 and 4 are on your doorstep
- Neighbourhood hotel or guesthouse in the Latin Quarter or Montmartre — €120-180 per night: village atmosphere, a few more metro stops

This is the bill for OUR itinerary, not “how much Paris costs”. Stay in a hostel or eat once a day and you will spend far less; want a hotel in the centre and it is far more. Entry prices are the ones stated in the itinerary: check them before you go, they change.
